While listening to the radio yesterday the dj was receiving calls for people to name the snow storm that was headed our way and a girl calls and suggest "Winter Storm Swg" I know I know, so original. Where have peoples imaginations vanish to?!
Just starting to snow:
The morning after:
^^ The snow drift was so high it blocked half our window!
The power also went out last night around 10pm and there were no signs of it turning back on
By the time i woke up in the morning it still wasnt on.
As i ventured upstairs I was told that according to the news it could be up to 3 days before we had power again!
So we emptied the fridge and sat around the heater.
Naturally right after we emptied the fridge the power turned back on!
So looks like we wont be freezing and bored for 3 days like predicted.
^ How we kept warm and had hot water. lol ^
I love the snow! :)
