A Day in the Life of a Golfers Wife

So Tom really likes to golf.
I didn't realize how much until we were engaged.
Then once we were married he played it on the wii alot.
Since its been winter we haven't gone.
But we finally were able.
First we went to a Driving Range.
He was supposed to teach me but since it was the first time he'd been since we got married he was very distracted.
Then we went to a real golf course.
We got there 3 minutes after their matinee hours ended
So it was $15 so i just walked with Tom while he golfed.
I don't want to spend that much until im a little better.

Our day at the driving range:

Random Nothings

So as of late I have started working with Leslie.
She runs an in home daycare with 5-6 kids depending on the day.
I had no idea how stressful and demanding, both emotionally and physically, it would be to deal with kids.
They are very wild. Like all children.
And very very loud.
Lots of competition between the 2 oldest trying to be the best.
Which as anyone could guess never ends well.
They are good most days.
But since they come so early in the morning, tired, hungry and emotional.
Naturally there are some very tough days.
I never loved nap time so much in my life.
The house is quiet and I get 1.5 hours of silence in my room.
Naturally I take that time to nap.
Then I wake up and we watch them for a little longer till they go home.
Its nice to help out but my body is still adjusting to getting up early and lugging around tubby babies all day.

In other news here are a few random photos.
Tom doesnt like to take pictures so sadly we dont have many recent ones.
The last ones were from Christmas time!
He hates being in front of a camera.

Dinner a few weeks ago.
Steak and taters

Sweet heaven on earth.
They say i will die of salt overdose.
But I just love it so much.

Buffalo Chicken Dip.
One of our new favorites.
Its good with chips or even as a sandwich.

A Day in the Life

Life around here is pretty boring as of late.
I stay home while Tom works and makes us money to save up so we can go back to school
We are waiting because we still dont have a car or any money saved in the bank.
We are finally paying off our school so we can register for the next semester.
We are really hoping that we get alot of money back for our taxes so we can pay for school on time rather then having to wait and get late fees.
Also we are going to GA in may for my birthday, mothers day, and a BBQ competition of my dads.
We wont be there in time for my birthday but we will still get to celebrate it with them.
I missed celebrating my birthday with them last year because i was at school and just skyped with them
This year i will get to spend it with them and with toms family.
Leslie and Paul already gave me their gift!
They got me some Bear Paw boots!
They are kind of like Ugs but much cheaper and cuter.
They are so comfortable, very warm and are great in the snow!
Also the power goes out here any time the wind blows to hard.
but thankfully they have a fire heater so we never freeze to badly.

My boots!

Staying toasty!

Leslie also got a call about a new day care child.
They came to visit and it seemed to go well.
Just waiting to hear if they are interested.
If they are I will help leslie and even be able to make a little money for tom and I to put toward a car and savings.
Im glad I will be able to help with money because right now I feel bad because all I do is sit at home while tom works so hard to provide for us.

Well have a good day! (:

Journal!

"On a number of occasions I have encouraged the Saints to keep personal journals and family records. I renew that admonition. We may think them is little of interest or importance in what we personally say or do—but it is remarkable how many of our families, as we pass on down the line, are interested in all that we do and all that we say."
-Spencer W. Kimball

So Since it is a commandment sent to us through the prophets
I felt like id start a new journal.
I have always written in a journal on and off through my life.
But i have never been consistent
and
most of my journals are half full or lost
So since im married and want to share these moments with my children
Ive decided to write again.
Well I usually liek to write about my day and jot down some thoughts ive been having.
And
I realized that I dont do anything I feel is worth writting.
I sit at home, watch tv, and get on the computer.
That is 90% of my time.
Not saying I have nothing to write about, sometimes I do things and can write them but most days I dont.
So I guess i just need to find things to do that are good to write about for future kids and family.

Love Notes & Other Things!

I thought it would be nice to leavve some notes for Tom telling him some of the many reasons I love him.
He recently got a second job and so he is gone for the night and it was the perfect time.

First I put them on the bathroom mirror so we would see them when he went in there...

But then I decided to move them onto our bedroom door.
That way he would see them right when he got home and came to the room

This is Calyn.
She is so cute, very dramatic but very smiley. :)

My valentines day flowers are still so pretty even a week later!

There was a snow storm.
Around a foot.
So before it got to deep we all went out and shoveled the driveway.
It gets super bad drifts and traps everyone in and out.
I was soaked and frozen with icy hair after we finished.
It took an hour or more!

I bought this as a dress.
The top was gross.
Super see through, baggy, huge pit holes and stretched neck holes.
So I cut the top off and will wear it as a maxi skirt.
Ive been looking for weeks for one.
The few that I found were pleated, which tom hates, and $25+
This one was only $7!

This here is my hot husband back in the day bustin' a move on at the skate park.
:)

Have a day! :)

Take a Walk

Took a little Sunday walk today.
It started out chilly but after a while of walking the cold was nice.
We ended up walking about 2 miles.
Saw some ducks and some other animals but I couldn't tell what it was.
